Flex 5000 upgrades: ATU Automatic Tuning Unit upgrade for FLEX-5000A and FLEX-5000C. The FLEX-5000-ATU is an optional integrated state-of-the-art, processor-controlled switched-L tuning network for the FLEX-5000 that provides fully automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF range including 6 meters. It will tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis or virtually any coax fed antenna over a wide impedance range. This is a field installable upgrade. RX2 The FLEX-5000 Second Receiver (RX2) is an ultra-high performance, fully independent, all-band, all mode receiver upgrade for the FLEX-5000 family of transceivers. The RX2 is identical to the primary receiver in the FLEX-5000 and is not a compromise design sharing circuitry with the existing receiver. Installation of the RX2 will turn the FLEX-5000 into a triplex transceiver capable of cross band operation. Note: This item is customer-installed. However it is also available as Factory-installed.
